We are a New York State incorporated non-profit organization and an alliance comprised of local independent community based organizations founded on the 1993 NYS mandated Neighborhood Based Initiative who collaboratively develop, implement & manage both short and long term services, projects & programs in one, or more physical localities at any one time.

The Williamsburg Neighborhood Based Alliance, soon to be, Neighborhood Based Alliances, Inc. was founded on the 1993 New York State initiated Neighborhood Based Initiative (NBI) and formed as a NYS mandated voluntary partnership of local government community groups, including non-profit CBO’s & service providers, schools, churches & neighborhood residents, in order to develop and to provide services for individuals in crises, or who are at-risk. In 2007 WNBA was incorporated as 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with the Wider Horizons Internship Network, Inc. emerging as its lead agency.
Our Pledge
To work collaboratively with our local community service providers in order to develop and to implement programs & services that empower North Brooklyn and other neighboring economically depressed communities, so as to affect economic & social improvements within these targeted districts.
